Child Protection & Capacity Building in Schools

Working with the OLM school directorate, Y4P developed Lebanon’s first child protection policy for Catholic schools, grounded in Church teachings and the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child, accompanied by a code of conduct for all personnel. A Train-of-Trainers workshop certified school-level trainers who cascaded the training across institutions.

Key achievements:

• 2,800 students reached
• 37 certified trainers
• 14 schools
• 1,044 staff trained
